It isn't info. It's in the realm of, "The Little Engine That Could": "I think I can, I think I can, I think I can". Or maybe it was the Wizard of OZ: "I do believe, I do believe, I do believe." Better stop here before I step on someone's religious trip wire. BR [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: On 28

I probably will wait until the *ist D is available. But 3 things concern me. 1. Nikon's D100 is now ahead of the *ist D in terms of a learning curve-ie bugs, firmware updates, etc. Will the *ist D be perfect out of the box? I highly doubt it, but I guess that's the price you pay to wait for it

Bruce, That is pretty good advice. Actually, the Hawaii trip is more of a MF trip, i.e. no kids. Disneyworld would be the AF trip. I think in the end, for my shooting, the focal length will be just fine (starting out at 36mm) for a digital SLR. I'm just so tired of the time delay, wasted photo

It's going to hurt which ever way you go, because of the focal length multiplication factor with either DSLR. Shoot film for one last summer. If you add a 50/1.8 to your Nikon kit that's all you would need for Orlando (leave the SB-80 home). Take the Pentax to Hawaii. Figure digital out in the
