interchangeable lens PS. Why would anyone in their right mind spend

For the same reason people think m43 is too big (at least in current
incarnations).
But, as you point it out, it brings problems inherent to sensor size
(noise and DOF).
It may get a market though. I know I wish my LX3 could change lens.
Even with its small sensor (bigger than the 1/2.33 chosen
This system has been rumored for a while, so it may not be a 4/1 one. ;-)

Pentax is also supposed to be working on a bigger (m43 or APS-C) Milc.
However, I suspect that Hoya is a more clever company and sees a
profit from a retro system like this, especially in the Japanese
market. After all, it will be really small and in the high end PS

Well, the sensor IQ on my little Canon S90 is astounding given how
small it is. Something that small that could be both a pocket cam
and, when you need it, take a telephoto or F1.4 or whatever, would be
a compelling package. I guess you'd need a k-adapter, although the

What's funny is that even though we all know the cropping factor is
what gives equivalent focal length, you have still jammed a whole
bunch of pixels into a tiny area. If you have decent light, its like
a tiny center crop of a stupidly high MP FF sensor, about 400 MP using
rough numbers. If you
