Well, thanks. I thought it was a personal vendetta, but didn't want to add to list misunderstanding. I apologize for the OT posts. I don't start them, but I seem constitutionally unable to withstand them without response for longer than about 30-50 irksome posts. (Though I am doing better.)

OOPS. I forgot to answer the second point. In Australia, as in Britain, a person most certainly ~is~ innocent until proven guilty. I can't imagine why you'd think otherwise (more unreliable sources perhaps). One episode of Rumpole of the Bailey would probably teach you more about British law

I should have added, my wife lived in Australian for many years. Her mum, dad, a brother and sister still live in Wollongong. I met her in England 25 years ago, and been married 24 years. She was born in Victoria on Vancouver Island, so that's one of the reasons we emigrated to BC 2 1/2 years
