Thanks for everyone's concerns... Bob, the smokiness is very little .. I'm just extra sensitive to it .. and it already has gone.. certainly doesn't require cleaning... (well,could use some cleaning all the time but  not because of smoke ;-) ) RIght now if I go right up to the window and sniff
