Dan - you really need to use a much higher F stop for doing this kind of stuff - it either needs to be edge to edge sharp or the opposite - very wide open and blurred background.. nothing looks sharp to me here.. a tripod, great DOF and ISO 100 with Mirror locked up or possibly go as high as
