That is unsettling. It's good, of course, that they won't be destroying your home, but I have to wonder if they might have gotten into some poisoned bait somewhere. I know animal control generally only deals with domesticated animals, pets and such. But, they might be interested in a

That was a big problem a few years ago, when we experienced a rabies outbreak/scare. People, and I use that term very loosely with any creature that will do this sort of thing indiscriminately, put out poisened bait for raccoons. Raccoons, or any other mammal for that matter, with rabies
