I have an M 50 1.7 that I got with an ME Super. I liked it fine but never
tested it, and haven't mounted it on a camera since I got the F 50 1.4.
Maybe I'll get a chance to compare them this long
On a DSLR it's an excellent portrait lens.
I's still VERY much cheaper than a 1.8 77mm or a A* or FA 1.4 85mm.
The affordable Pentax DSLR's made this standard AF lens very attractive for
portrait work, I believe.
I didn't have one in my PZ-1 - MZ-S days ... :-)

So, there's up to 15 years between the first F 1.4/50mm and the last FA
1.4/50mm.
