It's a lens problem. IIRC Sig[nificant} Ma[lfunctions] does not license lens data from any manufacture and reverse engineers everything so there are often conflicts between firmware in later Non Sigma cameras and earlier Sigma lenses. I think sigma offers an update service, but I could be

Have you checked with something such as Exif tool? If the info shows there and not LR, then you might have to use a hex editor to modify cameraraw.dll to 'add' the lens. I had to do that for my Sigma 18-250 HSM lens. Also had to add a lens profile to Camera Raw. Gerrit -Original Message-

IIRC, the 8 and 9 mm issue is a camera limitation, but the lens not being recognized is a Lightroom problem. Firmware may be updated to show the correct focal length, but who know when that will be, it's been an issue for a couple of years. Lightroom will probably correct itself on the next
