The 60-250 is a fixed ap f4 lens and a DA*. It’s the premium long zoom for the Pentax APS-C cameras. The DA 55-300, while very good, was meant to be a bargain zoom. I don’t now how the two lenses compare in use. But the 60-250 is of course faster at full zoom, and I suspect image quality is
