I don't like Paris after having lived there for a year, many moons ago,
but I do like Stan's photo.
Ralf, I am sorry to hear about the circumstances that have held you close to
home and blocked you from creating new images. But I am glad you took the time
to dig into old material for your contribution to this month’s gallery; your

I really like Paris, too. You were “off the beaten path”; this could be a shot
from any number of French cities or towns.

A long story which I’ll save for another time, but in short I was reminded of
two things: I have quite a few image sorting/filing projects left unfinished,
and, it has been a long time since I have looked back at what I did a few years
ago. This one caught my eye.

Like many others it seems, the last two years have been a mix of Covid
restrictions and health problems - in mine, chemotherapy took me out of action
for six months this year, and I am only now beginning to carry a camera around
with me again when walking. Restrictions on travel have obviously

One of my favourite areas - that's on the corner of Rue Poulbot and Rue
Norvins. Many years ago my wife and I walked along the Rue des Abbesses, in
the same area, and found a perfect bistro for dinner by pure chance. Going
over the hill behind Sacré-Coeur can also be interesting, as it seems
I'm not shooting anything new either __ I can't hold a camera to my eye

G'day all
'Flora' was a popular theme this month - lots of great images.

What a beautiful gallery!
I have been missing (a lot) the usual parade of photos on the list, and it’s
-great- to see contributions from Henk, Toine, Filip, Dave, David, Bruce, Stan,
Wheatfield, Dan, Alan, Brian, Ralf, Mark, Paul, Gonz, and Joe.
Would you folks consider posting on the list

I'd love to but I don't have anything to post.
Due to the pandemic, we never get anywhere. I'm 67 and the model of a
modern high-risk patient. We used to go to Belgium on Fridays to do our
