Meter On switch -
Much stiffer than KX, I mean _much_ stiffer.
Just like with the KX, if you set the shutter speed
to BULB, mash down the shutter button and then turn this
switch to the lock position, the meter switches off and
the shutter stays open. Could be useful for that 2 minute

I've heard of people pulling Velvia, rating it at 40
and apparently developing it normally,
but have never heard of pushing it. For example,
John Shaw pushes ISO 100 film but not Velvia.
However, like you, I've never used Velveeta.
The colors give me a headache.

JCO,
Seems a lot high. My lab charges 2.29 for 120 and 3.79 for 220.
How would we know? It's a long way to infinity. :)
I can't see that far, myself.

Since they don't print 120, doesn't sound like they actually cater to

probably don't do that much of it and subsequently charge extra for

My MX also developed this problem. Even with the shutter lock on, any
pressure on the shutter button would turn on the meter. However, when I
took it in for a CLA and asked to have this fixed, the problem was solved
and it never returned. It might have been the shutter lock itself, but it

I thought the MX review was very interesting too, but what surprises

Why can't you continue to use the Kodak E100VS? It's one of my favorite

I've had my MX from new since about 1980. During that time I've had

Interesting!
After I read what you had written, I compared the DOF scales on my

viewpoint.)

I also want to add here that the MX is far more easier to find on the 2nd
hand market and goes for much lower prices (usually the third of the LX
price), especially if you add the cost of a complete CLA for the LX if you
want it to be reliable.
This and the fact that it is much smaller, lighter

I'm still debating if to wait for the new 3200 model from Epson.
It's out in Japan and expected in the UK by the end of December.
Hopefuly N.A. (Canada) is not too far behind.
Aside from higher resolution, it supposed to be up to 3 times faster than
the 2450.
