G'day Boris, I was shooting high ISO because I didn't want to bother everyone with the flash. WRT noise, this series of photos was the first time I came across objectionable mottled blue noise. Using the reduce noise filter in PS CS2 helped, basically had to blur the blue channel to minimise it.
