Isn't there a Panasonic digital rangefinder coming that takes
Leica M lenses?
I know Panasonic and Leica have a partnership to produce digicams with
Leica glass. These include the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ1, the Leica D-Lux,

We will be spending 3 nights in Cambridge and 2 nights in Rockport, MA,
in early October. Aside from the usual tourist attractions, are there
any neighborhoods/vantage points/buildings etc. that we shouldn't miss

only use it to compose close up shots because the viewfinder is
inaccurate in those cases.
I find that the 230 makes pretty good macro shots, but the flash is
useless beyond 6 or 7 feet.

Help! I just got a new set of Cokin P filters and a holder today.
Everything works great except the polarizer. I just can't get it to fit
in the holder, yet it says P right on it. It is the Cokin P 164 Circular
Polarizer. Is there something I'm doing wrong or do I need to exchange
it for the right
I can't speak for the 550, but I have the 220 and I really enjoy using
it. The user interface is intuitive and easy, IMO, and I imagine the 550
will be similar. The only caveat is that the range on the flash is
rather short - if you want anything beyond about 8-10 feet, you're out
of luck.
