Seconded. I have a great love for my wood tripod. They don't
ring, they are much stronger, and they are much harder to
damage.
If you ding the leg of a metal tripod, you can run into some
problems with legs that no longer close,
A couple of my friends were out golfing some 10 years ago.
And the geese were(are) pests, invading the course.
One of my friends got one with a tee shot.

head fell over, then

Well, the postman arrived with one this morning for me. What a super little
camera. I shall try it out, (research obviously) as I have a while before my
son's birthday, and then it will be his.

Well, I've done it now and become a Pentax fanatic in 35mm and medium
format. I am now looking at a 6x7 with 105mm lens - very nice too. It was
too good a deal to pass on.

Nice to hear from someone in the same position. My first LX is to be
sacrificed - hard for me. I have very few 35mm lenses, so none to sell, and
I want to keep them so that my eldest son can discover 35mm photography.
Longer term, I would like to add a grip to the 67 and a 300mm, but not
201 - 300 of 1859 matches
