This is one of the sharpest lenses for digital or film for that
matter. If the price is reasonable, get it. I will never part with
mine. The bokeh is amazing tool.

condition complete with original box manual packing etc
How does it perform on the K10D/K20D or K7 ? ( currently own a K10D
but will probably get the K7 soon)
What would be a reasonable price to pay for it ?
Regards
Pat,
I've been looking for one of those, but the price from Japan is over $1,000US.
I don't know anybody who can comment as to performance on digital.
On film, it was a portrait lens like the new DA 55mm for digital.

Patrick,
I have no personal experience with this lens, but a good friend
recently purchased one for use at weddings (he gets paid) and he's
loving it. Says it was worth the $1,250 he paid for it (from Japan on
eBay).
Cheers,

If the serial number is 3711851, then it's the one that was stolen
from me last November, and I want it back! :-)
Seriously, I paid about $485 for it new, and now can't afford to
replace it, as the Japanese collectors just want too much for them,
and no one in the USA seems to want to
It performes very well with DSRL.
But don't expect reasonable prices.

Hey, P.J.,
Are you sure your browser is not useing the pages that were cached
long ago? Either that or you are dreaming.
You seem to be seeing prices that are long gone.
:-)
It is $760 at BH (and a comparable price at Adorama):
I think that was a typo. I rounded the 59 part up and managed to round
the 7 down...
