K-5II/IIs and OSX 10.6.8

2013-09-08 Thread Brendan MacRae
Has anyone found that the DNG from the K-5II/IIs works in 10.6.8 on the Mac? Since it's native to 10.7.X and the fact that my Mac can't go there I need a work around. Was musing on an upgrade from the K-20D but I don't feel like buying a new computer, too. -Brendan -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail

DNG has not changed. No reason your older Mac shouldn't handle new DNG files. I'll send you one or more if you want to experiment. stan On Sep 8, 2013, at 4:40 PM, Aahz Maruch wrote: On Sun, Sep 08, 2013, Godfrey DiGiorgi wrote: On Sep 8, 2013, at 12:20 PM, Brendan MacRae bpmac...@gmail.com

Thanks, guys. Yes, if you could a K-5II DNG to me off list it would be appreciated! -Brendan Photography's greatest handicap is the ease with which the medium as such can be learned. As a result, too many budding neophytes learn to speak the language too long before they have anything to say.
