That sucks methinks. I cannot say how it is in US of A, but in Israel
your severance package (right term?) would be enormous. The law has it
that if a worker is fired he is to get a full (I repeat - full), monthly
payment for each year he worked for the company. That's why they cannot

mentioned that since we have the new(April 2006) CEO, the cowboy from
Calgary, that my old survey department here in Ontario was up for
major resturcture.
The old CEO was happy to get jobs that as long as we broke even and
