Thanks for the comments, you probably missed the first version as I overwrote both files when I "fixed" it. I just dug out the film... it was Fuji Provia 100F. I'd love to use my 6x7 again but the film & processing are getting expensive. And I really don't miss the hassle of film scanning.

The second one (1141) works Ok as a semi-panorama, but for me, it somewhat loses the context of that rope swing thingy hanging from the tree branch. I prefer the first (1140) one. On 2/25/2022 4:25 AM, David Mann wrote: Here's another 6x7 scan that I've just processed.

I had an idea about why I may have been having trouble with the colours in the sky. I had assigned the Adobe RGB profile to the image when it may have actually been scanned to sRGB. I've reassigned the profile and also applied the highlights & shadows tool which has allowed me to keep a lot

Dave, the only thing that bothers me here is that thing hanging from the tree...and on my monitor the white in teh sky is really burned out . but I may be overstating it because  of my problem with glare. without the skinny line I'd love them both ann On 2/25/2022 4:25 AM, David Mann wrote:

There is a bit more detail in the sky but I was having trouble with some slight colour shifts so I let it blow out a bit. Haven't checked the tree but I intended it to be a silhouette anyway. Cheers, Dave > On Feb 26, 2022, at 4:44 AM, Rick Womer wrote: > > No preference here. > > Is there

No preference here. Is there some detail in the tree or sky that is on the negative, but didn’t come out in the scan? Rick > On Feb 25, 2022, at 4:25 AM, David Mann wrote: > > Here's another 6x7 scan that I've just processed. > > http://gallery.multi.net.nz/photo/1140/#peso > > After I

David, I prefer the uncropped version. That 6X7 was a magnificent monster of a camera, wasn't it? Dan Matyola *https://tinyurl.com/DJM-Pentax-Gallery * On Fri, Feb 25, 2022 at 4:25 AM David Mann wrote: > Here's another 6x7 scan that I've just
