Dear group,

It's a lens problem. IIRC Sig[nificant} Ma[lfunctions] does not license
lens data from any manufacture and reverse engineers everything so there
are often conflicts between firmware in later Non Sigma cameras and
earlier Sigma lenses. I think sigma offers an update service, but I

I noticed that the camera does not show any lens name in the metadata
info in Lightroom (version 4.4) and the focal length is only mentioned
down to 10 mm, 9 and 8 is blank.
Camera SW version is 1.14, (the latest)

IIRC, the 8 and 9 mm issue is a camera limitation, but the lens not
being recognized is a Lightroom problem.
Firmware may be updated to show the correct focal length, but who know
when that will be, it's been an issue for a couple of years.
Lightroom will probably correct itself on the next
Thx David,

Thanks Gerrit,
I did not check with exif tool.
I could also check with the Pentax Camera utility that came with the K5 If I
