As I know, "Farhang-e Hezareh" (also from Moaser publications)
The copyright holder is trying to make a business out of that. I
have seen their CDs in Enghelab for a range of 5 to 15 thousand
Tomans I guess (those with or without translator), and it's not
easy to persuade a complany (whatever personal it want to be) to
release their main work free of charge.

and/or put it under GPL?
I believe that I have seen this dictionary data set in 5 different
dictionaries (and all claimed that are based on Mr. ArianPour's). Not
that copying copyrighted material without permission beco
In the mean while, Masoud contacted me off the list, saying that
he has removed GPL, because of the first reason below. BTW,
about the second one, he told me that it is actually the source
he has.

AFAICS it is the poor Arianpour Dictionary's data.
I hereby ask you to remove all GPL related notices and stuff from
