Linux kernel : 2.0.34
PostgreSQL : version 6.3 (rpm)
Problems starting postmaster. I am getting this error whenever I try
running PostgreSQL:
Starting postgresql service: bash: /usr/bin/postmaster: permission denied
Can anyone give any assistance please?

I will upgrade my v6.3 to postgrsql-6.4.2-3 (Redhat 6.0).The
plpgsql.so library file is in the Redhat v6.0 distribution.

weighing the options and benefits available to us at this point and time,
of migrating from 6.3.2-4 rpm to 6.4.2-4 rpm, we have decided to wait for
the official production version of 6.5 rpm.
