Just wondering if anybody is using the svgagl driver. (for SVGAlib with cards that
don't support linear modes)
I'm temporarily removing it so I don't have to update it to the new video interface
because I don't know of anyone actually using it. If there is anyone hat needs it,
I'll take a smal
I like it!
My idea for pgl (PicoGUI launcher) had been to make it use 'plugins' compiled in, for
things like a toolbar, root menu, clock, battery meter, etc. A programming interface
like this would also allow programs to embed themselves in others, for things like
screensaver previews or even s

Why not make it possible for some container objects (e.g. toolbar) to
become public (with a name) and have a function to find a named object
and return its handle ? This way, the finder could create the taskbar
as public, and spawned apps could create and manipulate indicators

Although somewhat dated, http://vhl-tools.sourceforge.net/issues.html has a
summary of the major architectural issues in window systems f

I can neither confirm nor deny reports that I'm under NDA with any of thos
Here follows a list of the topics (in no particular order) we see a need for, in the

PicoGUI has it in size hands down. I am able to run it and the blackout app
from a floppy with framebuffer support and gpm mouse. (Compiled static both
the app and the server. (Waiting patiently for a picoGUI native /dev/ps2
mouse input driver. It'll happen someday.)

as a user of both, I would say that picoGUI has theme support and built in

working on it, (Micah and the rest of the developers here are phenomenal in
how fast they implement things out of thin air.) I have been reviewing b

Hello all,
first, congratulation to everybody who contributed, and very special thanks to Micah
for this tremendous achievement.
PicoGUI will be (after the linearN drivers are optimized) the only flexible GUI system
able to run with acceptable perfs on little configurations such as a 16MHz Dra
