Hi Denis,
Looks very cool, thank you very much for sharing!
A couple of questions. Can you comment how (if) you've applied your
ObjectTravel? Or some use cases you have in mind?
Have you tried to implement travelling methods of the Composite design
pattern with your package?
Cheers,
Hernán
Thank you for sharing Norbert.

In Pharo 5.0 #50759 on Windows, whenever I try to commit any change through
Versionner, an exception SubscriptOutOfBounds raise and then the package
modification mark is lost.
Is this bug reported?

In Windows if you select a file with Smalltalk code and right click you get
MessageNotUnderstood: FileList class>>allRegisteredServices

I think you have to open a Workspace with contents and then you can
evaluate.
I don't see any "do-it" right clicking on the file from the
Where do you recommend to add them?

Is there a chance to get this methods (or any better versions of them)
added to Metacello?

I use it a lot to uncompress external resources like this:
fileRef :=
GZipReadStream unzip: fileRef basename to: FileSystem workingDirectory.
but it could be used to pass a directory as String I guess.
Comment should be corrected.

Hi all,
Is there a specific reason why Project Catalog items menu does not include
"Install development version" and/or "Install bleeding edge" options?
Another one is, what does it mean the "Install stable version and create
group" option? group of what? what for?

Hi Stef,
For bioinformatics research it would be **really** nice to have:
- Tree creation algorithms: UPGMA, WPGMA.
- MCMC methods: Metropolis-adjusted Langevin algorithm (MALA and SMMALA),
Metropolis-coupled MCMC (MC3) would enable Bayesian inferences and to work
with evolution of genes. I
Hi Skip,
Trying your tool in Windows 8.1 and Pharo 5. I wrote my username and
password and this is what I get:
MessageNotUnderstood: NeoJSONObjectMapping>>allowNil
(there is no implementor of #allowNil)

Yes, now it works. Thank you.
May I suggest a couple of UI tips?
- Please don't use input boxes without label.
- In the same row it would be better a Login button.
- A button to logout?
- A progress bar or clock while logging and/or switching
repositories/branches?
- I clicked "Checkout" button
Hi Stef,
Just to tell you that I don't understand the process (if any) where it is
decided a new tool to be the new default, how it is evaluated and by whom.
But I would love to.
