Well... I disagree with you, Mariano. If you allow packages, suddenly
you will have things like:
com.pirulo.Date,
ar.com.pirulin.Date
and a lot of classes who, in fact, should be just Date

Hi,
I want to prevent squeak to load the world morph... it is for a process
running on background, anyway, and I want to prevent the time taken to
draw the main window... so, I tried some simple things like:
Smalltalk at: World put: nil.
but that doesn't work... so, any idea?
Thanks,
Esteban

I tried by starting pharo with a script:
Project uiProcess suspend.
Smalltalk

...and the processing stop working after the #suspend (no

Hi,
I'm trying to get a dependency map of a certain project (playing with
pavel's kernel image, I'm trying to figure out how to feed it with all
needed dependences).
What I'm doing now is very inneficient (usign #allCallsOn and reversing
the search), and I'm sure there should be something
which one?

Hi,
I would love to make a Pharo sprint here in Buenos Aires... is there
people interested? I we are not so many (4 or 5) I can offer my house
(the Smallworks headquarters :) ) as a place with internet and so...
if we are more, I'm sure we can get a larger place.
What do you think?
Cheers,
Hi,
I want to announce the immediate release of GoferProjectLoader, a Gofer
extension to manage Metacello configurations.
For all who want to know quickly what is this, here is a small synopsis:
GoferProjectLoader is a loader for Metacello configurations (A

I am not aware of Metacello details, but where is there a distinction
between loading and upgrading?
You do not have removeProject: or something?

Looks cool! I haven't had time to test it out in depth yet, but here
three questions:
- does it keep memory of which projects are loaded? Is this what you
refer to as managed projects?
Yes, it

maybe just one I seen long time ago, It was a in an arcade game, and if
you press the button, the desktop changed into a turbo prolog
screen... it was very useful at the time, in the university lab :)

You are right... and I pick up the glove. I want compromise some of my
free time on move on Pharo :)
This is not really much, since now I have several ongoing projects who

-Reef
-SeasideXUL/Magritte-SeasideXUL (this is new :P)

oops, I forgot to say I also collaborating with SquakDBX... Mariano is

so... I want to be clear... that
