I plan backporting kodi 17 as well and I think there is very little
difference between
kodi 17 provided by dmo servers and kodi 17 to be provided by jessie-backports.

UI options are specified in /usr/lib/lv2/abGate.lv2/manifest.ttl file.
Simply removing last 5 lines of the file would leave the plugin with Qt
UI only
Hi,
I have looked a little more into the issue here. As abGate was
developed using Qt and gtkmm libraries, hosts that support any of those
should load it fine. This is why somebody mentioned that it works in
Qtractor but not in Ardour.
jalv actually supports many libraries and it seems to load
