It's been 5 years since this bug was opened. Can we please just use the event
script solution i suggested? This should be as simple as editing some default
configuration files to add the xset commands below

Awesome! Looks good, this fixes the wrong icon sizes in plasma.
"xrdb -query" reports the correct size and .config/kcmfonts now also stores
the integer value. This means the "Force fonts DPI" size is now also shown in
the Fonts systemsettings module.

Please open the screenshot in a proper image viewer, not the browser.
The browser doesn't show the correct background color of the .png image, it

really distracting...
I'd go with some vertical scrolling, but make sure the timeout time gets
applied to each item when it is showing, not only when it's in the list... :)
