Actually attempt is to install three differing philosophies on three machine... e.g. Fedora (representing Debian/Ubuntu), Mageia (Mandriva/RH) & OpenSuSE [ :-) ] on three machines... Which to work where is tricky. OpenSuSE needs latest hardware... My time spent get multiplied by others' whose gets saved... ___ "अ Happy फेस" Goan बाय Birth, Soiled इन Maharashtra, Watering frॐ पुणेकर.! Re: [PLUG] What saved the day in the chaos that followed...
I hope by this time during this whole exercise you must have realized that dont mess up with partitions. And more importantly, plan what you want to achieve. And even more important is to get enough knowledge on how things will work before the plan. Looks like all these were missing in your exercise and hopefully you gained out of it. And just as irrelevent as your mixing of 19.1 to osho departure, I was in the commune that day. There is lot of manipulation that goes on between free & open source releases of different distributions as well, though hardly anybody may agree with it. Time stamp of new kernel release (& associated reasearch) is guide for journey of last few years... Time of day newer kernel gets released is indication... ___ "अ Happy फेस" [Goan बाय Birth, Upbringing ऑफ Maharashtra, Arguments frॐ पुणेकर...!] Sent from 10.or Device using BlueMail On 31 May 2019, 3:26 PM, at 3:26 PM, "Skool!lookS•InkarNatioN" wrote: >Linux Mint is currently on 19.1 > >19th Jan is OSHO's departure day (D.A.) > >Same guy (spiritual guru thrown out of America & many other places). > >Pune is home to his commune. > >No matter how much Mageia wishes this wasn't the case unless 7.1 is >released on time & I erase /boot from my disk it is running on Debian >kernel 4.15 > >It was also the day (19 Jan) when my close friend's mother passed away >in year 2010... > > > >___ >"अ Happy फेस" [Goan बाय Birth, Upbringing ऑफ Maharashtra, Arguments frॐ >पुणेकर...!] > >Sent from 10.or Device using BlueMail ___ plug-mail mailing list plug-mail@plug.org.in http://list.plug.org.in/listinfo/plug-mail
