I was seeing my music appear on lastfm.com, but I couldn't play any

So, I looked into the slimserver.conf file for the Lastfm settings, and

You can actually change that from the LastFM plugin settings page!
It determines whether you want to provide a LastFM login for the plugin
or get it to use the Scrobbler one.

I thought it was supposed to set that automatically if you have

I'm not aware of any way to display the clock as well as the now-playing

Hello. When playing music, I am no longer presented with the current

Did it show before? Press the Now playing button several times until you

Is there a plugin that modifies the Now Playing display

In the player settings, you can select a screensaver which will

will happen regardless of whether music is playing.

Re-reading your post, it looks like you want to have the track info
displayed, but with a small clock on the screen as well.
This isn't supported in the standard Slimserver release, but you might
want to try the SuperDateTime plugin, which lets you customise the
display to suit your needs.
OK, I've just done some testing, and SoftSqueeze is definately playing
my FLAC files natively, no transcoding, yet I can't use Song Scanner.
Any help on this would be much appreciated.
I'm using SoftSqueeze 2.3, and Slimserver 6.2.1 on Windows XP.

It worked well to just copy the slimserver database. :-)
Now I just have to wait for the nice Squeezeslave developer to add ssh
support.

Well... as you're already tunneling ports through ssh, why don't you add
those needed by squeezeslave?

Just got my Squeezebox today.
Installation went perfectly. I installed Slimserver
and the Squeezebox instantly connected to my network.
I wanted to install a highly recommended plug-in called

It can be found here:

Out of curiousity, when I did this and tried to add a favorite it caused
Slim server to crash (several things with last.FM have caused crashes).
Are these known problems or is there something I should be doing to
debug these problems?
Are there any things fixed in the nightlies for last.FM?

I've been runnning test using trial versions of ZA and I found that
the problem seems to be caused by the IMSecure component as I had no
problems with ZoneAlarm or ZoneAlarm pro but problems with ZoneAlarm
Security suite and IMSecure Pro.

TagMyTunes lets you hold down the add buttton and add a song onto the
end of any playlist in your menu.
Most of the code is pulled directly from PlaylistMan. It provided all
the basic functionality.
More details and downloads are available. I would be interested in any
feedback or suggestions.
Yes, that did it.
Thank you.
