Powersave isn't going to be able to do what you want, there's no volume
ramping down.
The sleep function already ramps the volume down over a short period,
sounds like you need a plugin replacement for that function over a long
period.

I checked Nokia sites - 770 s/w can only be downloaded authorised with
an 770 serial no.
Unless some 770 user can provide a copy of the library - I think this
approach is a dead end.

After trying numerous permutations, this seems to work every time (in
case anyone else is interested):
1. In Server Settings: Enable MusicMagic, Disable iTunes
2. Stop Slimserver
3. Delete the cache db file: SlimServer/Sever/Cache/slimseversql.db
4. Start Slimserver
5. Wait for scanning to comple
KDF had some sort of fade built into his advanced alarm plugin. If you
look at the code I believe it still exists. I have been able to get
fading in on alarm trigger working great but have not tried it on sleep
as I believe that would require modding the core code. A sleep plugin
should work o

What's weird is that it definitely wasn't working, and now it is.
I stopped SlimServer, ran it from Terminal, found it was ok, quit
Terminal, stopped SlimServer from the preference pane snd started it
again from the preference pane, and now it works fine.
I'll report further if the glitch comes
I have a piece of software that fixes regular loudspeaker's transient

A simple sleep would be nice though - especially if it is internet radio
that is playing.
i.e. tune to internet radio station late at night - then set sleep for
n minutes.
At n minutes - playing is stopped - saving bandwidth (if using internet
radio) and providing quiet sleep.
