Would I see the errors at startup (if there were any)? Or do I have to
look in some log file? There are no obvious errors reported.

Hello Dabloss,
I had sold my previous G5 computer and was without a Mac for the last
month+. I finally received a new intel iMac and should have
iTunesupdate setup as soon as James updates it for iTunes 7. From a
post that I read, James is waiting for iTunes 7.0.1 to be released

Using SlimScrobbler 0.36 I keep seeing this message in my Last.FM
overview after a while:
Some tracks you submitted have not been added to your profile for the
following reason:
The track you submitted appears to be badly tagged - please check the
file's tags.
Can I see what tags are submitted?
At first my linux-based slimserver wouldn't recognize SlimScrobbler
0.36. After searching some threads it appeared that it might be a
problem with the end-of-lines (EOLs). Turns out that the plugin files
used DOS/Win EOLs (cr/lf) instead of Unix (lf). James says he thinks he
has fixed it now, but

I changed the EOLs to Unix style and all was fixed.
Yes! That did it.
(For those interested: I used a tool called LineBreak for the
conversion, it can be found at

Thanks!

I haven't tested my plugins
I just installed 6.5 release version Server is SUSE Linux, but running
on XP Pro. My Softsqueeze 3.0 stops having an active display. The
display freezes. But it comes back to life for a while if I click the
Softsqueeze button panel. Eventually it stops again -- in no more than
30 seconds.

Well, now the plugin is recognized by SlimServer but it doesn't submit
any tracks... I entered my account info 3 times to make sure it is
correct... Submissions with iTunes and the official last.fm
application work fine.
*Sigh*

Seems like the plugin still has to be installed *within*
SlimServer.prefPane (right click, show package contents, put the
SlimScrobbler folder into server/plugins).
Finally.

I have been very happily using 6.3 and AlienBBC 1.05, until yesterday
when I upgraded, using the Debian package to Slimserver 6.5.0 and the
6.5 version of the Alien plugin. Long story short I cannot get this
to work. When I change the file type in the
slimserver/server/filetypes page I get:
I don't know where mplayer.sh should be in Debian but it probably
should be in the same directory as binaries such as flac, sox and
mov123.
You could also try d_path to find where slimserver is looking for these
files.

Hey all. I just upgraded to 6.5 and I can't seem to get WebLogger 0.93
working again. It doesn't seem show up in the Squeezebox player menu
anywhere and I can't find it in the Server settings either. Has
anyone gotten this working?
Thanks!

Thanks; I did read this thread before posting, but it seems to be a
different problem. My server doesn't crash after the error, and the
message on the display is different too.

I followed the instructions - any advice.

Well, before SuperDateTime seemed to be the culprit rather than
TrackStat or DynamicPlaylist: removing it seemed to restore normal
behaviour. I then tried the latest SuperDateTime beta to see if that
would have problems too. It did, so I removed it. Even with it removed,
I was again having
Excellent plug-in. Looks great.
