OK, I think I found the typically undocumented and non-standard format
that the LastFM site is expecting... new version up on Sourceforge.

Historically, AudioScrobbler asked people not to submit tracks from
internet radio listening.
However they did some time ago give the OK for SlimScrobbler to do this,
and I think there is some code in there already that should do this. It
all depends on how the internet track information is

Yes.. If your version of slimserver supports them, Moose should too..
Im not sure 6.3.1 supports flac cover tags though ? May be wrong..

I followed Daniel Cohen's detailed instructions to install AlienBBC (and
Lame and mplayer) on my Powerbook running Mac OS X 10.3.9, for my lovely

It installed fine, showing up on my browser and on my SB3.
But when I try to play a stream ... nothing. Not a single BBC

In the Server Settings / File Types - are the RTSP boxes checked or
unchecked ?
Where did you get the mplayer ?
I have a feeling that some versions of mplayer do not work with OSX
10.3.x. Did you do a standalone test of maplyer ?

Thanks bpa.
The RTSP boxes are checked.
I got the exact mplayer that Cohen suggested, from the alienbbc site, a
specific build for Mac OS.
I haven't done a standalone text of mplayer becasue I don't know how
to. It currently sits in an obscure usr/bin.

I'm not sure what happens on a Mac but this is the command to connect
and play the Radio 4 stream on Linux systems with a sound card. I've
assumed mplayer is in /usr/bin on your system.
Code:

I posted this on the Roku board but am posting here as well in case it
is a Plugin issue.
Thanks to bpa I got the Sirius plugin working on Slimserver.
Now I am streaming Sirius radio to the HD1000 via Slimroku and it works
great for about 20 minutes then the HD1000 stops and locks up. After I

If you don't have this problem on Softsqueeze, then it looks like a

Do you get messages as AlienBBC tries to connect? If so, what are they?
Are you trying Listen Live, or an archived program?
What is your radio timeout set at? It's in the Network section of
