get is a file called AACplusLinux.tar.gz.html, which is surely not what
I want. Doesn't do anything, anyway. Is there another way to get this?

In the post below I created a plug-in to simplify the AACPlus
installation. It used to work for OSX but there have been changes to
mplayer distribution which may mean the file Bin/aacplayer.sh needs to
be tweaked.

It's a standard attachment so it's your browser that's messing it up.
Just click on the file and it should offer to download.
Check whether your browser has given the wrong name but the file
contents are correct - rename the file to get rid of the .html and
then see if you can untar the file.

Well, I restarted the computer, and now I can stream audio to my Boom.
I've tried restarting before, and that usually doesn't make any
difference.
BUT, the standalone test of wavin2cmd still does NOT work. I still

I have installed the Mavit unofficial plugin but can't get it to work.
Everything looks normal in Squeezecenter, I have enabled the plugin and
set up city codes etc.

Ok - interestingly I just reinstalled softsqueeze from the link in the
browser window when squeezecenter was running and it now works fine.
One thing I was wondering - I did this using IE instead of firefox that
I usually use - that's the only thing that I can think of was

I recently bought a Boom, and added it to my system. Now the shuffle and
repeat icons work more unreliably than ever.
To recap, I use Top right for the icons using MusicInfoSCR 4.3.5 on
the latest 7.3 nightly and Ubuntu.

Yes your are. SC7 is necessary for using the Duet, but just because a
plugin can be used from SC7 does not mean it is supported on the Duet.
It just means it can work with SC7 on the SB3.
