Last night I upgraded SC to 7.3.3 including the corresponding firmware jump to v125. I have now listened to 2 iPlayer streams of over an hour each and so far no problems. In the log there are no more STREAMOUT messages, just lots of STREAMING :-) So from my, user, perspective it all seems to be

It works for the first track start, then it seems to ignore all button presses in the SqueezeCenter web UI and I have to kill the java process to make it stop. CAn you confirm that 3.7 works OK with button presses etc. -- bpa

So rabbit is listening to Radio3 and jwedwards to radio2. The radio3 streams are 192k and the radio2 ones 128k. This may explain the difference in time before it stops... Could you try a non radio3 stream to see if it lasts for 1hour 16 rabbit? They should be 44.1 MP3 CBR streams at the

Reproduced here on a Radio3 192k stream - stops at 50:58 and then gives brief static bursts. Same debugs as seen on this thread. So it seems to me Alan that its something to do with the amount of data streamed into the player. I suggest the next stage would be to test with proxy streaming

So, 50:58 @ 192kb/s is the same number of bits as 1:16:27 @ 128kb/s. Triode, can you try downloading the stream to a local file and then play that either through SC and/or using alternate MP3 players. I cannot do this as I'm not in the UK. -- awy
