I don't think that this is the problem. Certainly
Last night I upgraded SC to 7.3.3 including the corresponding firmware
jump to v125. I have now listened to 2 iPlayer streams of over an hour
each and so far no problems. In the log there are no more STREAMOUT
messages, just lots of STREAMING :-)

I upgraded to 7.3.3 this morning and have just streamed last night's RM
Show on listen again (sorry if this isn't cool but hey I'm 47 I'm
allowed to be uncool). Unfortunately, it stopped at exactly the same
point as before 1:16:27 to the second. Again, rewinding it a bit sets
it back on track and
I'm using Squeezeslave 0.8-33 on my Ubuntu server and at the end of each
track (flac) in the playlist it stops and I have to hit next to get it
to play the next track.
Any ideas?

Here is a log file from early this afternoon showing UNDERUN after
approx 50 minutes streaming. Sorry, but the upgrade has not fixed the
problem.

After my post on how well it worked running on XP I thought I'd try it
running headless on my Ubuntu server.
I run it using this command:

So, It looks like it pays off, that Apple does not provide for real
streaming, but only for file playback - the tracks get transferred to
the Phone or Touch in a few seconds and then theres no more
communication needed.

It works for the first track start, then it seems to ignore all button
presses in the SqueezeCenter web UI and I have to kill the java process
to make it stop.
CAn you confirm that 3.7 works OK with button presses etc.

So rabbit is listening to Radio3 and jwedwards to radio2.
The radio3 streams are 192k and the radio2 ones 128k. This may explain
the difference in time before it stops...
Could you try a non radio3 stream to see if it lasts for 1hour 16

Reproduced here on a Radio3 192k stream - stops at 50:58 and then gives
brief static bursts. Same debugs as seen on this thread.
So it seems to me Alan that its something to do with the amount of data
streamed into the player. I suggest the next stage would be to test
with proxy streaming

So, 50:58 @ 192kb/s is the same number of bits as 1:16:27 @ 128kb/s.
Triode, can you try downloading the stream to a local file and then
play that either through SC and/or using alternate MP3 players. I
cannot do this as I'm not in the UK.
