As for suggestions, it needs to better handle albums that haven't a
square aspect ratio (for example for DVD-style artwork that have their

Yep. That's true. I hope this is not taking too long, it's with Apple
since Monday last week.
There have been some significant UI changes in 7.4 and one of these
changes is that + no longer means plus (expect some confusion on the
side of Controller users) but brings up a context menu.

my trackstat data from a backup using restore from backup in the web
interface.
Restore starts and the progress bar moves, but after around half of the
process, the restore stops and a no connection webpage is shown. And

backup files! YAY!!!
However, I can't restore them somehow I'll keep trying.

I use CustomScan to go iTunes SC, but does it do SC iTunes in the
background? I thought a script had to be run by the user? I'm not sure

Found a way around the apple lossess problem. By removing mplayer from
the slimnas\usr\bin folder and restarting slimserver it's forced to use
alac to convert to pcm. Which is OK. When I try to play 24/96 flac files
using sox i get the following error.

Anyway: under settings-advanced you will find an option to install a
new firmware. If the Server you are connected to is 7.3.3 you should be
presented a 6038 firmware.
If this doesn't help please start a new thread.
Maybe you should wait
If you edit the index.xml file and set the max version to 7.4+, you can
install it. But it is still broken, so wait until the maintainers fix
it

Michael's homepage I get to SqeezeboxCenter 7.3; the new version has
been renamed to Sqeezeboxerver; the download of the slimnas installation
script leads to the same version as previous 7.1+ version; is this

update, before you update, go to your iTunes account ~/iTunes/Mobile
Applications and save the program's *.ipa file. If you don't like the

When I restart Squeezebox Server it says I have to restart because of
