Thanks for the great plugin! One suggestion: Would it be possible to add
a feature to override the "Don't use online music services in your
mixes. Use your own music files only." switch per mix? I generally will
the mixes with spotify, but for some certain mixes I would prefer only
my local music.

This happens to me but with Deezer. I have removed everything I can find
about Deezer but it still show up in the Mix. The most annoying is that
everytime it plays a track from Deezer it connects the player to
MySqueezebox?
So you still have deezer configured on mysqueezebox.com?

Of these music services, the only one I subscribe to is Rhapsody.
However, I don't seem to have the capability of creating
Rhapsody-related mixes.
Thanks for the heads up! There was a bug indeed, causing Rhapsody not to
be included. Will fix asap.

I chose 'rap' for style and for mood I tried 'angry' and then 'angry' +
'haunting' and finally 'angry' + 'haunting' + 'angst-ridden' - it didn't
matter, one of the songs in the mix was always Britney Spears Born to
Make You Happy ;)
This mix _is_ haunting, isn't it?

An Artist mix should add any "related" (however) other artist as well, if
it is known

Michael,
I just want to thank you for the Smart Mix plugin. I've just begun to
scratch the surface of its apparent capabilities, but I'm already
enjoying a good Jazz mix from my local music library right now.
I do have one question. On your original posting announcing the plugin,
you noted that

OK, bitrate limiting OFF is fine.
If it's just iPeng as a player (not the SBs), the I really believe it's
the router issue.
What happens is this:
iPeng's player (not iPeng as a remote) has two connections to the
server, one for the actual music and one for control of the player (the

Oh and you should have 3 or so new customers in the

I will upgrade to 0.94 and see about the saved recipes.
In the meantime I have tried comparing a MIP mix with a TEN mix.
For MIP I selected an album and asked it to do its job. MIP is set to
use (I guess…) a "Mix style" of 100 and "Mix variety" of 1. I
never had any idea how to create moods or f
Yes, all seems to work again now.
Thanks again!

And If you hit SmartMix/Artist Mix from any playing track and you

I find the blender settings a little perplexing. I suspect that you
select an artist (along with some parameters) *or* mood/type etc, along
with some *other* parameters. But it's not clear to me.
Also, the right hand end of the blender panel gets chopped of when using
Chrome on a Google Nexus 7

It should hopefully work again in the 2.9.3853 version which I just
published.
