I think the order matters so pcm,flc,mp3 means that pcm is preferred

surprised you use 'wav' and not 'pcm'. According to the doc I

In the Custom Browse menus, what are pathtypedata and pathtype ?
Are they something

I had a go with s2u a while ago but didn't have any suitable upnp
devices available for testing.
I am now configuring a server for a friend who has a high end Denon AVR

I have got the Denon working OK but I have a question about volume
before we move on

But isn't the volume still 100% at start up if that's all you change ?
The volume should not be 100% by default, unless you set it like that in
LMS options (see 'Power on Resume' and 'Volume Control'). Then you have
2 options to handle volume commands by LMS, in the plugin

My own solution was to disable the volume control in sq2u (ie ignore

To be clear, using this option means that the volume is whatever you set
on your player. LMS has no control over it at all.

Does this new plugin support playing DSD over PCM (DoP)?
I'm not very familiar with DoP nor how it it supported by UPnP players.
But, if everything is encapsulated as raw PCM data and LMS is sending
that as such (audio/L16 mime-type), then the plugin should be
transparent, with

I'd love to see the sync issue resolved in this plug-in. I'm very used
to the simplicity of using iPeng to control my multi-room system and I
wouldn't mind having to switch back and forth between controlling my
song selection on the Apple Music app and adjusting volume / syncing
players in iPeng.

Well, I'm not running anything :-). I tried to read some other user's

Good Morning Audio guys!
Is there in the meantime a chance to get flac files coming from Qobuz
(LMS plugin) streaming to JRiver MC software? I aim to run the great LMS
interface (iPeng) to control JRiver output because of its phantastic
sound quality.
Best regards,
