I use castbridge to play my music via a Chromecast audio, controlling it
with squeezepad on an iPad. LMS runs on Windows 10.
I find that I keep losing my Chromecast in the list of players in
squeezepad. I can normally find it again if I go to my google play app
and play something.

It would be great to implement this Spotify connect feature in the
Max2Play image!
Looking forward to this!

No, this
I forgot to include this screen grab with my previous post. These are
the initial 8 tracks that were loaded to my current playlist when I
started the smart mix.

I have incorporated suggestion to update the moon phase icons with
transparent backgrounds. I was using the images available from
wunderground.com, but I was able to find a nice set of compatible moon
phase images which have now been incorporated.

The log will either be written to stdout in which case they will get
mixed up with audio stream which is on stdout or else logs goto stderr
Added libfaad2.dll in Squeezelite directory, playback is istantaneous
with both streams (Radio Deejay and Radio Capital). This doesn't solve
my problem (I need to stream to a Boom) but your analysis was spot on.

I can't get any sound from an Apple TV or a Soundmate using the current
1.0.2. or any previous versions. I have allowed squeeze2raop through the
LMS server firewall and have even turned off the firewall with no
success. Castbridge works fine as did UPnPbridge (now not installed) on

It's picking up the wrong interface, do you have multiple Ethernet cards

How would you add tracks without scanning? I thought of the scanner.log.

I saw it activates a transcode with -nolog option. Might I get some info
from ffmpeg logs if I deactivate that on the commandline?
Now I'm out. When I'll come back home I'll deactivate aac transcoding
(it currently transcodes to flac) and report back.

You can't. It is a simplistic plugin which hands over all playing to
ffmpeg.
Is your squeezelite player setup to play AAC natively ?
Can you give some more details on your Windows systems - specifically

Hmmm... it happens even when simply using PlayHLS plugin. Pretty
annoying... the windows doesn't disappear until I dismiss it . It says
"This problem occurs when a program is not fully compatible with
Windows". I'm using the latest, just downloaded x86 FFMPEG build.
Thought that given LMS is 32
Stuttering etc are due to the HLS implementation and issues about

Why not just use PlayHLS especailly as you don't use BBCiPlayer for BBC
?

I dont know, sorry. Could it because the CC goes to sleep? I have added
a restart of logitechmediaserver between the sleep and alarm, and that
seems to make it work now. No sure why.
Didn't notice before, not sure if it was happening before I installed
PlayHLS, but now when I tune in a station using the BBCiPlayer prefix, a
"Interactive Services Detection" window pops up, telling me a program
running is trying to display a message. If I accept it, it displays:

I'll fetch the other info for you. In the meantime I've installed your
PlayHLS plugin (plus FFMPEG). Playback starts *instantly*. I could be
happy like this, considering my server's hardware can handle ffmpeg with
no problem but still... I'd like to get to the bottom of this, as the
