totally get that, but have tried HLS also, neither seem any better than
the other, I am assuming I can do that all within the plugin you have
provided rather than uninstall this one and load up another build? ie
switch the preference in the setup to HLS ahead of DASH?

As I keep telling users - the BBC still have DASH as a beta service
which means they can do strange things with the servers unexpectedly and
not expect complaints - you could try HLS for live streaming as it is
supposed to be the fully supported service.
thanks so much, I will try when I have a bit of free time and can mess
without upsetting other ;)
Very happy to stick with non-uk if it remains as stable it has been
tonight, as I mainly listen to 24/96 music of my own, my wife is less
critical but notices when it keeps stopping!! lol.
To check if this is a BBC server issues - you could replace the DASH.pm
file as per this post

This is "normal" for BBCiPlayer plugin playing HLS or DASH protocols but
htis many usually indicates a BBC problem.
WHy are you playing HLS for on demand but DASH for Live ?
If you are making comparisons - do like with
looking at log file, I have lots and lots of this:-

Hi there, I hope bpa or others might be able to help...
I recently had to move my LMS (Version: 7.9.0 - 1467729831 @ Fri Jul 8
04:05:20 CUT 2016) to a windows 10 PC as my old WHS 2003 server finally
gave up the ghost. PC is i5, 8GB RAM and fast modern drives so way more
horse power than my old

I only have a DS115 to do some testing. But there are no reports of the
X86_64 package users I know!
Based on that, I would say there are no big risks.
Hi @Morbeas,
The beta package of Synology is build in December 2015. A lot has
happens since then. A lot of bug fixing, but also new features have been
added: drag and drop local files into your playlist, additional browser
modes, don't stop the music, remote library ...
Lmsupdate is based on
Also, I'm having an issue with the Trackstat rating no longer showing on
my interface. Would you be able to help in any way regarding this issue?
I'm afraid of making things worse by installing your version. :\

Jan,
Just checked the nslookup command at home and it returned the following

Hello everyone. I'm currently running the latest beta released by
Synology on my DS1511+ (v. 7.9.0 - 1453293926). Are there any
significant differences between the Synology beta and these versions
released by pinkdot?
Thanks.

Thx Sakkerju, for me the Synology Nas is the preferred host of LMS. So
updates will keep coming :-) I'm surprised by the amount

I have a quick question. In the past, under my Interface settings, I
used to have the "Title Format" defined as "DISC-TRACKNUM - TITLE - (
TRACKSTATRATINGNUMBER )" and this would show me the Trackstat rating in
a parentheses for all the tracks in my current playlist. Since upgrading
to LMS

To use LastMix, do I need to have LastFM Scrooble enabled? (I've always
had this deselected).
Also, wasn't there a LastFM Squeezebox App? I don't see it in
