Ok, now tell us a little bit about your setup:

No, no other server and no Bonjour. Kodi and LMS is all I use it for but
Kodi has been there for years.
Kodi might be it. IMHO there's a known conflict with Kodi and librespot

You can try to comment out the line notifyUpdate of artwork to confirm
this is the issue. It's in plugin .pm, around line

Hi there,
ok, I am back. Got a Pi3 - working. But I am stuck in the same place.
Radio works fine - spotty just does not. It says in the LMS that it is
playing (even got it to play at 100% volume ... it is the setting of the
mobile device)
I now entered some credentials into the spotty plugin. I

I have it in settings in the LMS webinterface-Settings-Advanced-Spotty
Spotify for squeezebox. Below the instructions
For whatever reason I couldn't get CustomClock to show up under Applet
Installer. So I did the manual install and now I'm back in business.
And I backed it up this time. :)
Thanks again.

My LMS is 7.8.1 on OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.8 on Mac Pro 2006 Mac
Dual-Core Intel Xeon 2.66GHz
According to this https://forge.rust-lang.org/platform-support.html only
10.7+ is supported by the Rust compiler used for the helper application.

Given the following, is there some clear info out there about
compatibility, for Mac, LMS version architecture, etc.? Spotty does
indeed fail; more details on request of course!

Try username/password?

After removing credentials in Spotty
Michael, could it be there is bug in Spotty that (at least for windows)
overwrites the 'Don't discover' option?
I changed plugin.pm, $pref->init from
Code:
disableDiscovery => main::ISWINDOWS ? 1 : 0,
Hmm... I certainly should remove this now.
I managed to find and follow a playlist of 1600+ tracks and discovered
spotty only grabs the first 200 tracks. Maximum Playlist Length is set
to 0 (unlimited), setting Maximum Playlist Length to 2000 also results
in 200 max from Spotty
I've mentioned this before: if you want to have large
Yes, the box is ticked after every restart. But, Michael, didn't you say
I should leave it ticked?
Hmm... I'll have to look into this. The prefs devinitely should stick,
unless you have a larger problem.

Helper is 0.9.9 and android Spotify app is 8.4.4.something. You think
there's any point in uninstalling the Spotify app or wiping its cache?
No. But removing the credentials and trying again might help.

Does connect work if you untick the option (and press apply)?

Hello.
I have been trying to upgrade my BBC iplayer plugin to 1.5.x, but all
the repository URL's that I can find listed in the various threads here
don't work; I get error404 or sometimes SSL or re-direct limit exceeded
errors.
I am running LMS 7.9.1 on a ReadyNAS box (spark processor).
