For playing spotify music through LMS, I recomment using 'Michael's
Spotty plugin'
But if you like tinkering, and feel adventurous, you could try this

inclined, you might consider modifying the AirPlay skip-back command to
act similar to the LMS web interface.

second press (within a time limit?) seeks previous

Now I tried to upload full log.
But that's not what you'd get from the server.log.zip link in the web
UI, is it? It's the same lines plus a few...
" Don't announce Squeezebox players running in Spotify Connect mode in
your network. Check this option if you don't want your Spotify Connect

That would
I have a "portable" LMS on a Win10 laptop that I use the 3rd party
option to run SL-win as a service. My main reason was to get rid of the
taskbar icon. I think I'll try your SLX on that laptop and get rid of
the 3rd party software to run SL as a service. Having another icon in
the system tray

Now I tried to
Thanks Michael. I guess my question is whether I can have a different
"active" user per squeezeplayer? That would be a bit neater than a "per
account" menu.
Did you try it? As I said this is configurable in the Spotty settings.

There you are. Thank you!
Unfortunately that's only 30s worth of log entries. Please provide the
full file. There's a link to download the .zip file.
Is the "disable local discovery" box checked in Settings/Advanced/Spotty?

There you are. Thank you!
One question I have for you: I assume the limitation of not having an
account playing on more than one (unsynced) device simultaneously
applies. If that's the case, is there any way I can force one player to
use my account and another, say, to use my wife's. I won't be using the
Connect feature,
Hi guys,
I just wanted to let you know that we now released our Stretch Image
officially!
It coincided the release of the Raspberry Pi 3B+ so already integrated
the new Kernel necessary to boot the device.
This official successor of our Jessie Image runs on all Pi's including
the 3B+ and comes
Fantastic plugin - thank you for your work on this.

Hi Michael,
I have updated to the newest version of spotty. Now it works great.
Thank you very very much for your fast support and your good work!!
This is a really good plugin!
In addition to supporting Spotty Connect with password protected LMS,
there are a bunch of bug fixes and minor changes:
- improve context handling in Connect mode for albums and playlists
- fix the long-standing "Settings link is broken" issue
- improve logging
- fix playlist transfer from
18 matches
