see the others - this is on Android 9.0 (Pie). Perhaps different android

Yeah, you're right. The wording in the changelog is wrong. If there is a

This doesn't work on my phone. Notification and lock screen controls
remain if nothing's playing and even if all players are off.
Removing and re-adding the web app to home screen doesn't

Hi
I'm just trying out SB Player for the first time and the volume seems to
reduce by half after a few seconds after I've first connected the player
to the server.
Any ideas what is wrong?

That baby comes with AirPlay.
It may be a better UX to use Phillipe's AirPlay bridge plugin rather
than the upnp one here.
The only downside I am aware of to AirPlay over upnp is that you are
limited to 16/44.1

Any ETA on the update to SB Player?
Also, just in the last couple of days I've started seeing a lot of these
kinds of errors that seem to go away for a little while if I kill and
restart Squeeze Ctrl. It doesn't seem to matter whether or not I reboot
the device. It's happening on both my tablet

It'll be seconds since 1st Jan 1970 (see

I also think it is a time stamp. But not in a form that is easily read
by a human. That is, not as if 2018-04-10 made the release number be
180410 at the start.

That seems right - I should have spotted that it was an epoch looking
number.
@danco
That makes the 7.9.1 a pre-release version and unlikely to have the
patch to Select.pm
Great, tx.
Any chance you could list the tray menu links in your screenshot as I'm
having trouble configuring the skin one (can't get the syntax right) and

Can you put a date on this release ?
There was a change in BBCiplayer which requires 7.9.1 but specifically a
release after July 6 2018 - the plugin just
First usual log & setup info helps.

Lately I have not been able to listen comfortably to BBC on demand
streams because they keep rebuffering. Not just once or twice in a
program but frequently.
What's causing this, what further information can I give you, and how
can I resolve this?
As far as I am aware, there are no obvious

Ah ... this is going to be complicated. The Onkyo explicitly disconnects
when it goes on sleep mode: it sends a bye-bye request. So here, I
logically have to remove it. Some player just go silent, but this one
asks to be removed.
