Which LMS do you have?
LMS 8.2 on Odroid-C4 - *SqueezeAMP!*, 5xRadio, 5xBoom, 2xDuet, 1xTouch,
1xSB3. Sonos PLAY:3, PLAY:5, Marantz NR1603, Foobar2000, ShairPortW,
2xChromecast Audio, Chromecast v1 and v2,
My librespot command was
librespot -n "Librespot Speaker" -b 320 --enable-volume-normalisation
--normalisation-gain-type album
For Spotty I was using Ogg but changing to FLAC or PCM makes no
difference. I am not sure what you mean by parameters but Replaygain was
on and Spotty Normalisation was
kidstypike that's what I have found.
Further down, it often goes into "drag song to new position in playlist"
mode.
I found this when I was trying to maximise the size of my cover art for
an artwork quality audit. It seems I was not so fussy 13 years ago. :)

It can be awkward at times, seems to work better if I grab the divivder

Playing with it a bit more, seems like it's just flaky. Works sometimes
if I drag very very slowly or else it drops the divider. Almost like a

No.

I'm just trying this skin for the first time today. Currently, only in
desktop mode.
- Is there any way to control album cover size, or is it only automatic?
When I drag the left window to the largest size, I get four covers wide,
but would like to limit it to three and have larger artwork.

Thank you Groundsman, Craig;
Yes, I do have auto update plugins checked.
It seems counterintuitive to not have it checked in order to know when
to restart to complete update (??). Craig, understand that it takes
time, but will Material not flag an update if auto update is checked?
So, is

Craig, thank you for adding podcast search back, albeit temporarily. I
have not tried LMS 8.2, hope the podcast functionality is just as good.
Your podcast search was a game changer, thank you
I think I am missing something though or doing something wrongI was
running Material 2.5.0 and

Ah! Sorry, I misread the original request. This action should have been
there, but I added code to explicitly remove it - I'm guessing that

The LMS server.log might have some clues.
My first guess would have been file/folder permissions. Perhaps your new
Perl installation or the running LMS does not have the required rights
to open the files.

I also installed Librespot on my Windows laptop and volume normalisation
definitely works when playing to it from the Spotify app. So volume
normalisation works for Librespot but not for Spotty.
What parameters are you using? There (unfortunately) are three different
normalization related
