Just uploaded v1.5, hopefully can fix you issue. (I have been using it
for a few months, don't have this issue any more).

Only change is upgrade in Softsqueeze, from 3.8, due to upgrade in Mac
mini and OSX from 32bit early machine to newer i5 64bit machine.
Maybe it's time to say goodbye to Softsqueeze. It hasn't been updated
for years, has it? And it never worked as reliably as Squeezeplay to
start with.

Well, I'll be damned, I never noticed that you could set the random
mixes as favourites! The people who originated LMS and those who now
maintain it have thought of everything. Probably why it continues to be
my favourite music server for the last 20 years

Stil using this app sometimes. I use two players. But this app resets
itself always to the player one the same Raspberry pi than where i have
also lms installed.

LMS lives on a ReadyNas 102 where it's been for several years without
issues.

You misunderstand my problem, it's Softsqueeze that goes to sleep(stops
playing) and not the Mac mini...
Where's LMS living? Could it be LMS is going to sleep?

I've never used 96br. Changing it in UI and restarting LMS still states
96. Perhaps something else is not changed its supposed to?
The 96bps is only used in the daemon - which is not being used for the
streaming.

was needed. :)
I compiled and tried spotty-dev and spotty branch but still the same.
One thing i noticed is cmd-line state

Odd one - When "run in background" is on and I close the main window
(not minimise) the start menu and taskbar pinned icons do not do
anything. I think this was before 2.9.8 but still persists. I have
deleted the pinned items and put them back, still the same. I can only
open the window
