It should actually work "out of the box" if you use this Plugin to cast

Tbh, Qobuz does not really have more Classical recordings than Google
Play Music, at least in my searches I did not find anything they had
that was missing in Play Music, on the contrary, Google sometimes had

Like I reported earlier, my CCA had vanished from LMS. Restarting the
Plugin did not bring them back either. I then just left things running
(and actually left the house, went walkies with the dog) and when I got
back the living room CCA (the one that is always on)

I think I might actually have a clue about what's going on...
Device Spy finds plenty of devices, including the CCA units. However, it
also finds a couple of "dead" devices, and some of those carry the same
name. Could that be an issue for your Bridge Plugin?

In LMS Plugins page, uncheck the "ChromeCast Bridge" Plugin, then
restart LMS. After that add the Plugin again, restart LMS a second time
and you'll have the newest version.
For some reason auto-update does not pick up these changes...
I usually check in the Chromecast app. TuneIn isn't great about
releasing CCA, but Chromecast app shows that it was released. I'll try
it again with Google Play Music. That shoudl work fine.

Yep, just like I feared. I connected via TuneIn, which then promptly cut
off the LMS connection (which is OK) but despite closing the connection
from TuneIn, I now can't get the CCA to play via LMS anymore. It keeps
scanning, but never finds the CCA anymore.

great sound quality, no question, but in every other respect they have
huge problems, and seem unwilling to fix them.

It's now working for me for the first time (Dev3) but getting it to pick
up the Player was a major hassle! I don't know what triggered it in the
end, but I did about a dozen restarts, reboots, CCA reboots and
setting-resets, then it suddenly showed up and is currently playing
I'll see if I can aquire some useful info there somehow.

my TuneIn (beta) correctly starts and stops the session

I pulled the plug from my FireTV, and then the ChromeCast devices showed
up as players. Apparently the bridge tries to use FireTV as a CC, fails
and then crashes.

I'm not the expert here, but from what I remember from earlier
discussions with Michael, the limiting factor is on the LMS side.
Getting it working would apparently require some serious reworking
there. Qobuz API allows seek as far as I know, because it does work on
their official apps.

It is a LMS version thingy. It started happening sometime in the 7.8
nightlies. I'm running latest 7.9 nightlies and it never started working
again during all that time. Nobody ever really figured put why. It
works if you restart within a few minutes (at least it used to) but mot
beyond that.

About the "Autostart" feature, I'd really keep it simple, letting the
user decide whether he wants the "play" command sent or not. Checking
the LMS settings would be the more "Pro" approach I guess, but keeping
it simple is also a good choice IMHO... ;)

I just tried, and the "Pause on power off, Resume ond power on" doesn't
work with dlna Players either, just like PiCorePlayer. The Playlist is
saved by LMS, so all it takes is hitting play and it continues, but it
does not start on it's own. If you can, then please implement this

The resume function in LMS used to work, up until about 2 years ago for
me, then it suddenly stopped, at least in combination with PiCorePlayer.
I haven't tried it with squeeze2upnp yet, I'll do that today and report

A little technical question here:
I used you app to control my LMS/Squeezelite setups. The strange thing
is, that the Qobuz Plugin is pretty sluggish when controlled via your
app (search is OK, but opening the lists takes a moment, and the CPU
load of my Server (Odroid U3) spikes to 100%
I think we really need somebody to take over work on the GMusic Plugin.
It still works (with a few small workarounds) but as soon as something
changes in the Gmusic-API again it will break again.
Maybe Philippe_44 can be convinced to take it over?

I think I might have found it, but not 100% sure, since the delay is
still there, but the CPU on the Server no longer spikes to 100% but
rather stays at a moderate level of around 10%.
It only happens on Squeeze Ctrl though, and that's the only app that

That actually expalins a lot. I had originally set the "remove" count to
"2", after the Update I left it at 1 (forgot about it). No I set it to 2
and itmostly works without trouble. I'll set it a little higher for

About the filtering:
I just did a quick side-by-side comparison. Here are the results, which
show that the filter does not have any effect on non-playable stuff, but
does mess up the search results, at least for some queries.
No, filtering is off. It hasn't worked properly for me for months, ever
since Qobuz started optimizing their database and search algorithm.
I did test the same thing with BubbleUpnp and their Quobz Plugin and it
listed the correct version of "Aida" in the "new releases" section.

I just installed this today, since my former "BBC 3 HD" stream stopped

I have a small request: I'm running the latest version of Squeeze Ctrl,
and the issue I often face is, that longer track and album names are cut
off. Especially for classical music, where names can be really long. Is
