I suggest to use
Code:
cmd | tee -a filename
That way you will see all output (standard and error) on the terminal
and it will be written into the file "filename".

is limited, too.
I suggest to extract one RasPi player from its group and use it as
stand-alone player (just for testing). Then it should be able to play
Hi-Res titles.

I think that I have noticed this behaviour, too:
Now Playing showed that track 11 is played while I was hearing already
track 12. After restarting track 12, everything was in sync again.

You need to replace
Code:
dtoverlay=hifiberry-dacplus
with
Code:

Peet,
please describe why you want to shutdown the pCorePlayer.
The RaspberryPi is not like a normal PC and when we know what you want
to achieve then we can help you.

You are playing a Hi-Res file (2963 kbit/s) only in CD quality (750
kbit/s).
Maybe that is the root cause.
Do you know who is responsible for the resampling? LMS or Qobuz?
