Hi,
I got back from holidays a few days ago and Spotty had stopped working.
I updated LMS (now 7.9.1 - 1511768958) and the Spotty plugin (it says
now 1.99.0) - but still no luck.
I have the problem - 'spotty.exe' stopped working - when I put in my
credentials. This has come up on this thread
So just to clarify. so does this basically convert my classic player to
a Spotify player that I can operate without the need of Mysqueezebox
running.
No mysqueezebox.com, but Logitech Media Server.

Installed the Spotty plugin in LMS version 7.7.3-113 today. Delighted
to say that it showed up in my Touch and works very nicely. Just want

We are having a heck of a time with the LMS and Spotty.
-We are running a RP3 with MAx2Play and LMS installed.
-We have Spotty for Spotify installed and running
-We have a Family plan from Spotify with 3 users
-We have registered the Max2Play device with Spotify
-The 3 accounts show

I'm usually running LMS on my Windows system, but to give a try to
spotty with connect, i did install LMS on my rasp pi 2 under debian 9.
LMS is accessible from web, and i did install the spotty plugin (1.9.7)
but whenever i click on the parameters link it says :

was doing something dumb :/). Anyway, no songs will play in Spotty. When
I select a playlist, it just brings the song up and after a few seconds
skips to the next. No sound whatsoever. I enabled some extra logging and

Well see, login as root is where I´m lost to begin with. How do i do

I´m aware of the Raspberry solution and if all else fails thats what I´m
going to do, but I´m a little stubborn so I really would like to try
everything to get it running on the NAS only first.

Did you re-install Spotty after disable the AV (which isn't a solution

Spotty problem also on SB touch. Running fine, but today get this
message on plugin setting page
There has been a problem running the Spotty helper application. Please
make sure you have the Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime (32-bit!) installed
on your system.
I uninstalled and reinstalled LMS.

longer and longer. There also some search strings with annoying typos.

I have Western Digital's My Cloud NAS and am trying to get Spotify
working again through my Squeezebox. Do you know if Spotty will work
with My Cloud as the NAS? I keep getting the message: "Spotty requires
the Perl module IO:Socket:SSL"
