It looks like it should have worked so it is time to get some debug log
info. Checking for compatible CD drives only occurs at SBS startup so
the procedure has a few steps as follows:
1. In WebUI Settings/advanced/logging check the box Save logging
settings for use at next application restart
Momentarily the players were identified under WebUI Settings/CDPlayer
but then it reverted back to Unassigned no other players listed.
I tried to attach a zipped version of the log but I can only reduce it
to about 1 MB which is too large for the forum. The file is about 14 MB
uncompressed.
--
A text file will only be a few kilobytes at most - there will be only be
about 50-100 lines of log file which relates to the startup and CDplayer
log entries - I don't know what you are copying - use plain text through
copy paste - not a screen grab or a word processor file.

There was a problem with version number comparison (e.g. 1.07b7 is
considered newer than 1.08) but I thought it was fixed by 7.4.1 ..
The other possibility is that you had a repository URL entered for the
CDplayer betas and it may have taken precedence over released versions.
