I installed a new Synology ds220+ with DMS 6. I tried to install LMS 8,
but the link to Sourceforge is no longer valid. So I installed LMS 7.7
from the synology archive, which works perfect. Anyway I prefer Version
8, which I had on my older Synology.
I would appreciate if you updated the links.

You would need access to the command line interface of the Synology:
there you can do things that are not possible in the GUI.
I enabled the SSH service on the Diskstation and connect to that with an
SSH client like Putty or WinSCP.

I have struggled the last couple of days to get LMS to work in Docker,
but have finally succeeded, but LMS cannot find anything in my music
folder.
I used the following settings as suggested in this thread:

I looked at my package updates on my Synology 213+ yesterday, and
noticed an increase in the version number of the 8.1.1 update, and lo
and behold, I was now able to update, so obviously the issue has been
fixed. No more warnings that it isnt compatible with the DSM version.

I ran into the same issue by updating all the packages on my DS.
I uninstalled LMS and the 28 Perl-Version and installed the 24
Perl-Version. Where can I find a version of LMS for a DS1517 (ARM 7)? I
cant use a docker-version, because docker is not supported on the
DS1517.

I had read that symbolic links might work- I gave that a try but had
limited success. Bash command line could see it just fine, same with
Midnight commander. File station did not see it but that is a long term

I can set the alarm in Ipeng or on the radio. But nothing happens?
Any ideas what I can do about this?

to produce terrific MUSICIP mixes from my library that I highly value

Yep, the perl update killed it for me too. Since native LMS support was
the reason I chose the Synology NAS over others, I'm kinda upset that I
have to go back to a duct tape and bailing wire setup like I had before.
Rather than rolling back the perl and continuing to fight that battle
and weig
