Well, it's me again. Inspired by the success of reinstalling version 12,
I made another effort to reinstall 13.0.93 as well, and now everything
works perfectly. I just thought you deserved to know. I don't know what
happened, most likely an unsuccessful install in the first place, I
suppose.
Thanks for letting me know, I was just testing MC2Slim with an
unlicensed copy of MC13 and it worked ok so I was stuck for the next
suggestion.
I'm glad it's all working again.

Hi again, and thanks for your replies.
I reinstalled MC 12.0 and everything worked fine. In the MediaCenter
forum, an administrator gave me the following advice: That's almost
certainly an issue with the MC2Slim software, not with MC13. Please
try contacting the author. We'll provide a

I could always go for another download of MC 12.0, but that sorts of
seems a too easy way out.
I was suggesting

Which version of MC are you using? I'm on 13.0.91 but It's worked with
MC13 since the first betas.

As long as you're using the latest version (1.6) it should work fine
with MC13

There's no trick but MC2Slim and JRMC must be on the same PC, It's
usually best to start JRMC up first too.
What does the title bar in MC2Slim say?

They are on the same PC (In MC2Slim: Media Centre/Set Base Path/Same.)

I'm not sure what's happening there, in task manager can you see 'Media
Center 13.exe'? That's what MC2Slim is looking for.
Also have you tried the connect and disconnect options under the file
menu?

Yup, Media Center 13.exe is up and running in the task manager. I've
tried connecting/disconnecting several times, but there's no change,
the top line is always saying Waiting for Media Center. Media Center
works fine through my PC speakers, but that's not always where I want
it. Also, as you may
The TX/RX lights should still flash if you press any of the player
controls on a valid player. Do you still have MC12 installed? does it
work with that?

If you by any valid player mean a fully functional MC13, well, nothing
happens. Moving the MC2Slim slider will make the TxRx sort of flash on
and off, but can't be set to keep it on constantly. Unfortunately, MC12
was uninstalled and removed.

Hi.
Running SlimCenter 7.3 and MC 13.1, I try to make MC2 Slim connect the
two of them, but without any success. I can't quite recall at which
point this became a problem, it might well have been with the release
of JRiver MC 13.0. Anyway MC2Slim gets connected with SlimCenter, but
not with
