If it appears random and multiple - you may have conflated mulitple
issues - so deal with possible AAC format issue first.
iPlayer uses AAC and 48kHz in streamed format - your albums are files -
this is not the same but does indicates that AAC audio can be played so
codecs are OK.

try playing some songs that won't play. Then go to LMS webGUI > Settings
> Information, scroll down and click on the "logitech Media Server log
file". You may see some errors there.

Grateful for some advice here... over the last week or so I have been
unable to play some albums on some of my 'endpoints' (mostly
PiCorePlayer and squeezelite on PCs) but they do play on some of the
other endpoints. And the endpoints that don't play some albums do play
other albums. The
